Many mothers report that pregnancy was incredibly challenging and thought they'd finally be free after giving birth. However, things aren't as simple as they imagined...

Whether you delivered by cesarean section or vaginal delivery, mothers face a series of physical changes after childbirth. Among the most prominent are pelvic widening, pelvic floor pain, organ prolapse, recurrent gynecological inflammation, urinary incontinence (urinary leakage), a distended belly, enlarged buttocks, and vaginal laxity, which can cause many new mothers significant distress and frustration.

In reality, pelvic widening is a natural process.

Only 1% of mothers require pelvic repair.

Let's first briefly understand the changes that occur in our pelvis after pregnancy and childbirth.

To ensure a smooth transition for the baby into the new world, the mother's pelvis needs to "widen the path." Starting between 10 and 12 weeks of pregnancy, the placenta produces relaxin, which gradually relaxes the ligaments at the pubic symphysis. The anterior pubic symphysis expands, and the posterior pelvic joints also expand to varying degrees, widening the pelvis, hips, and buttocks.

Pre-pregnancy VS Post-pregnancy Pelvis

In reality, only approximately 1% of mothers experience severe symphysis pubis separation (widening of the symphysis pubis by more than 10mm) and require medication or even surgery for pelvic repair under the guidance of a professional doctor or rehabilitation therapist.

For most mothers, pelvic repair isn't necessary at all, as the widening of the pelvis caused by pregnancy and childbirth will gradually return to its original state within 3 to 8 months after delivery. This is why the period between 42 days and 6 months after delivery is emphasized as the "golden period." Isn't it precisely within this timeframe?

Secondly, attributing posture problems solely to a widened pelvis is one-sided.

Without pelvic repair, will posture problems worsen, causing spinal deformity and even inability to walk?

Without pelvic repair, will pelvic organs be affected and prolapse?

Without pelvic repair, will the pelvis widen, leading to gynecological problems and even compromised sexual life and fertility?

In reality, these alleged harms have no scientific basis. During pregnancy and childbirth, a woman's shifting center of gravity, weight gain, skeletal changes, and increased laxity of ligaments and soft tissues all contribute to changes in posture during and after pregnancy. These changes aren't solely due to changes in the pelvis.

These postural changes will gradually resolve after childbirth as hormones, organs, and skeletal muscles recover.

Therefore, for healthy mothers, the claim that not undergoing pelvic repair will worsen posture problems, cause spinal deformity, and affect walking is completely false.

The claim that not undergoing pelvic repair will cause organ prolapse is even more absurd.

The pelvic cavity does contain organs, but it's the pelvic floor muscles and associated ligaments and fascia that support and prevent them from prolapse.

The pelvic floor muscles are involved in numerous physiological functions, including controlling urination and defecation, supporting organs, maintaining a beautiful female figure, maintaining vaginal tightness, and enhancing sexual pleasure.

The three most classic postpartum care methods for scientifically repairing the pelvic floor muscles are:

Hospital-based electrostimulation therapy, Kegel exercises, and oral maintenance.

1. Electrostimulation therapy: Many mothers are physically weak after childbirth and find it difficult to complete a full course of postpartum care due to the long travel time, effort, cost, and difficulty in scheduling appointments.

2. Kegel exercises, commonly known as the "hold urine" exercise, are classic exercises for strengthening the pelvic floor muscles. By consciously contracting and relaxing the pelvic floor muscles, they strengthen their strength and elasticity. However, without professional guidance, it's easy to apply force in the wrong areas, leading to worsening pelvic floor laxity.

3. Oral internal conditioning and maintenance can achieve targeted repair while minimizing postpartum recovery costs and the risk of complications.

Dunkang: A postbiotic solution for women's health that targets pelvic floor muscle repair.

Real-person testing showed significant improvement in urinary incontinence after 14 days of use.

The core ingredient is a patented, oral, non-viable lactic acid bacteria fermentation lysate, a rare, patented ingredient for pelvic floor muscle repair. This product is produced through a unique process combining liquid and solid fermentation. This unique postbiotic has been awarded six invention patents in China, Hong Kong, Japan, the United States, and other countries, covering multiple areas including pelvic floor muscle repair, endocrine regulation, ovarian anti-aging, and collagen synthesis.

It primarily promotes TGF-β1 expression, targets fibroblast membrane channel proteins, and regulates endocrine levels of E2, T, FSH, and LH. This increases collagen content in the pelvic fascia, enhancing the contractility and elasticity of the pelvic fascia, urethra, and bladder ligaments. This significantly improves pelvic floor laxity, prolapse, and urinary incontinence, effectively addressing women's health issues from within.

The formula additionally incorporates Pediococcus pentosaceus, a proprietary probiotic for vaginitis treatment and immune enhancement, and North American cranberry, a close friend of women. These ingredients have been clinically proven to reduce UTI recurrence and protect the urinary tract health of postpartum mothers.

Conclusion: Compared with the control group, the model group showed abnormal urodynamic waveforms and decreased peak abdominal pressure leak point pressure. After oral administration of postbiotics, the urodynamic waveforms were significantly restored, and the peak abdominal pressure leak point pressure was significantly increased.

Conclusion: Western blot and qRT-PCR analysis of rat pubococcygeus and urethral sphincter tissue revealed significant decreases in ColⅠ, ColⅢ, and Elastin protein levels in the model group compared with the control group. Compared with the model group, postbiotics significantly increased ColⅠ and Elastin protein levels, and ColⅢ protein levels were also elevated. TGF-β1 mRNA expression was also significantly elevated.
